**Monitoring User Sessions in Plesk**


You can monitor who is currently logged into Plesk, track their activities, and manage their sessions. Here’s how you can check user sessions for Plesk, FTP, and Terminal Server.


### Monitoring Plesk User Sessions


To view active Plesk sessions:


1. **Navigate to**: Tools & Settings > Active Plesk Sessions.

   

2. **Details Displayed**:

   - **Type**: User role (Server Administrator, Reseller or Customer, Mailbox Owner).

   - **Login**: Username of the logged-in user.

   - **IP Address**: IP address from which Plesk is accessed.

   - **Logon Time**: Date and time when the user logged in.

   - **Idle Time**: Duration of inactivity while logged in.


3. **Actions**:

   - **Refresh**: Click to update the list of active sessions.

   - **End a Session**: Select the checkbox next to the user session, click **Remove**, confirm the removal, and click **OK**.


### Monitoring FTP User Sessions


To view active FTP sessions:


1. **Navigate to**: Tools & Settings > Active FTP Sessions.


2. **Details Displayed**:

   - **Type**: Type of FTP user (registered, anonymous, website administrator, web user).

   - **Status**: Current status of the FTP connection.

   - **FTP User Login**: Username for the FTP account.

   - **Domain Name**: Domain to which the FTP user is connected.

   - **Current Location**: Directory the FTP user is in.

   - **File Name**: File being uploaded or downloaded.

   - **Speed**: Transfer speed in kilobytes.

   - **Progress**: File transfer progress percentage.

   - **IP Address**: IP address of the FTP user.

   - **Logon Time**: Time elapsed since login.

   - **Idle Time**: Duration of inactivity.


3. **Actions**:

   - **Refresh**: Click to update the list of FTP sessions.

   - **End a Session**: Select the checkbox next to the FTP session and click **Remove**.


### Monitoring Terminal Connections (Windows)


To view active Terminal Server sessions:


1. **Navigate to**: Tools & Settings > Active Terminal Services Sessions.


2. **Details Displayed**:

   - **Status**: Current state of the terminal session (connected, logged in, disconnected).

   - **Name**: Terminal session name.

   - **User**: Username of the terminal session user.


3. **Actions**:

   - **Refresh**: Click to update the list of terminal sessions.

   - **Disconnect a Session**: Select the checkbox next to the session and click **Disconnect**, confirm the disconnection, and click **OK**.

   - **Log Out a Session**: Select the checkbox next to the session and click **Log Out**, confirm the log out, and click **OK**.
