How to Download Backup in Cpanel

  1. Log in to your cPanel.

  2. Find "Backup" (or maybe "Files").

  3. You'll see different backup options. Here's what to choose:

    • Entire Website: Want everything? Look for "Download a Full Account Backup" or "Full Backup".

    • Specific Parts: Need just files, databases, or emails? Choose options like "Backup Home Directory" or "Backup Databases".

  4. Full Website Backup:

    • Click "Download a Full Account Backup" (or similar).

    • Pick a location within cPanel to save the backup file (often the home directory).

  5. Partial Backup:

    • Choose the specific part you need (e.g., files, databases).

    • Follow any instructions to select what to include in the backup.

    • Pick a location within cPanel to save the backup file.

  6. Click "Generate Backup" (or "Download") to start downloading. It might take a while for a full backup.

  7. Once downloaded, transfer the backup to your computer using an FTP client or the cPanel file manager (if available).
