Configure the period that a user session is allowed to remain idle before it is closed.
**Session Preferences**
You can customize session settings in Plesk to enhance security and accommodate various needs.
### Adjusting Session Idle Time
To set the allowed idle time for sessions:
1. **Navigate to**: Tools & Settings > Session Idle Time (in the Security group).
2. **Specify Idle Time**: Enter the desired idle time in minutes. If a session remains idle for longer than this period, it will be automatically terminated.
3. **Click**: **OK** to save the changes.
### Allowing IP Changes During a Session
To permit IP address changes within a single session:
1. **Navigate to**: Tools & Settings > Session Idle Time (in the Security group).
2. **Enable IP Changes**: Check the **Allow IP changes during one session** checkbox. This setting is useful for users with dynamic IP addresses or unstable Internet connections but may increase security risks.
3. **Click**: **OK** to apply the setting.
### Resetting to Default Settings
To revert all parameters to their default values:
1. **Navigate to**: Tools & Settings > Session Idle Time (in the Security group).
2. **Reset to Default**: Click **Default**. The default session idle time will be set to 30 minutes.
3. **Click**: **OK** to confirm and apply the reset.
