How to Install SSL In Plesk Panel

  1. Login to Plesk Panel: Access your Plesk dashboard using your web hosting provider's credentials.

  2. Navigate to "Websites & Domains": Locate the "Websites & Domains" section in the Plesk menu.

  3. Choose Your Domain: Click on the domain name where you want to install the SSL certificate.

  4. Find "SSL/TLS Certificates": Look for the "SSL/TLS Certificates" section within the domain's options. It might be under "Security" or a similar category.

  5. Manage Certificates: Click on "Manage" next to the chosen domain (it might say "Certificate" instead depending on the Plesk version).

  6. Install a New Certificate: There might be a button labeled "Add SSL/TLS Certificate" or something similar. Click on that option to proceed.

  7. Upload Certificate Files: You'll be presented with upload options. There are generally two methods:

    • Upload Separately: Choose this if you want to upload each file individually. Browse and select your server certificate (.crt), private key (.key), and intermediate certificates (.crt or bundle file) using their respective "Browse" buttons. Click "Upload" to proceed.

    • Upload as Text: If your provider allows, you can paste the contents of each certificate file directly into designated text fields. Make sure to include the BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE tags for each certificate section.

  1. Finalize Installation: Once you've uploaded the certificates (whichever method you chose), click a button like "Install" or "Save" to finalize the SSL installation for your chosen domain.
